Wow! An earthquake. What makes it any different from the hundreds that have occurred over the past, say, 30 years? And, you do know don't you, that when a magnitude is given it is just a preliminary estimate based on the information at hand, right? And I've seen the magnitude go up. Where's your evidence that any of this is part of some conspiracy? Nancy said there would be an exponential increase in earthquakes. If that were true, there would be large magnitude earthquakes several times, every day. That isn't happening...and there's no evidence of any increase. So, is it our turn to watch you dance and make excuses now?

The earthquake occurred in the place noted for the most frequent earthquakes anywhere. There's a reason it's called the "ring of fire".

How does a planet near the Sun change the weather here, anyway? What about all the OTHER observable effects that such a body should cause? Why are those absent?
