It's true.

It's a chilly 63 degrees and people are in fucking COATS today.

How is it where you are?

Las Vegas has only been getting into the mid 80's, about 15 degrees cooler than normal. Quite nice really! I love global warming!

I need to stress that I meant COATS

Not Jackets.

COATS.

And it's that very special bone-chilling type of cold.

And when I mention it to co-workers, they act like it's normal.

I feel your pain. I am in Minnesota and I am sooo grumpy with this weather. Finally we are heading into the LOW 70's after coming off a weekend of 50's and rain. I mean come on, the northern states take such a beating in the winter WHY can't we have longer than a two wk summer?

i tried mentioning it to someone last week. It was about 20 degrees cooler than usual.

She says, oh we usually have a couple cool days in June.

I was like WTF??? NO we DON'T. It's miserably hot (like 90-100) in June here!

She just walked off and left me standing there looking quite befuddled.

Upstate NY, and that rain is coming our way for the next four or so days. All that rain should be good for your state bird, the mosquito (I grew up in MN).

Umm I'm in NYC too. 65 degrees but humid, not that cold at all.

And the temps have been crazy here. One day it's 90 degrees (few weeks ago), and another it's 55-65. But it's not 'cold' today, not for me anyway.

Southern Cali here, It's cloudy as hell, man I wish it would rain already...it's a nice 73 out where I am. June gloom is normal here, but it usually burns off by noon. 2 weeks ago it was 100+ where I live.

I was just out for lunch and wore a wool sweater and a middle weight jacket.

I was comfortable and dressed appropriately.

For OCTOBER.

Speaking of wicked T-storms...

A few nights ago here in NYC (either Sun or Mon) we had the WICKEDEST T-storms I've ever experienced, and I'm almost 40.

It happened at around 2:30 AM, and the thunder seriously sounded like explosions RIGHT OUTSIDE OF MY WINDOW.

Both of my cats were on my bed with me AT THE SAME TIME AS MY DOG, and that NEVER happens.
