This June is the loveliest OCTOBER we've ever had here in NYC

Having a great fall here in so cali, too. The sun is asleep.

We had a beautiful cooler spring here in North Carolina, but now we're back to the typical high humidity, high temp days with a thunderstorm in the late afternoon early evening. I really enjoyed the spring, though.

Very HOT and humid here in the Tampa Florida area. In the 90's and beyond. I would gladly give you some of our heat if only UPS will ship it.LOL

98 High and a low of 78 here in the Greater Houston area. The weather for the next week looks the same.

I go home at lunch time and water the garden. The cukes are just wilting from the heat!

Did any NYCers experience the insane T-storms that I mentioned on the previous page?

They happened either Mon or Tue at about 2:30 AM, and the thunder was loudest noise I've ever heard in my life.

It was pretty terrifying.

Weather guy said yesterday that for this month in Michigan we've only been at or above the average high one day, and half of the other days we've been 10 or more degrees away. Our lows have been in the low 40's upper 30's at times. May wasn't any better.

We never get them that bad upstate, and didn't have any this week.

I remember sleeping out in a tent under a wood balcony during one as a kid. It was awesome. They only scare me if the sky turns green, the birds stop chirping and the wind stops. When that happens, head to the basement with a jug of water and wait for the tornado sirens.

My ex in NYC mentioned it a coupla days ago - he said it was the most intense storm he'd ever seen/heard for NYC.
I did ask him if the cat was bothered, but he said na.

terrifying though? pffft, i rolled up a joint and went out with an umbrella and just watched the amazing show! and yeah it was really loud with big lightning bolts. freaking awesome.

In Ohio, we're about 10 degrees cooler than normal. The storms though lately have been super intense. This morning I was startled out of bed by these loud thunder claps happening in fairly rapid succession. Not the usual long pauses and randomness you normally get. There was a heavy fog on too and you could just barely see the lightening forking through the clouds. Very sinister. I kept thinking of the movie "Mist"--there's something in the fog, run.... ahhhhhh!!
