Many thanks Sombra. You've perceived my basic dilemma and described it well. I've long struggled to assert my emotional and personal independence.

Your last sentence intrigues me because I tend to see all life as interconnected on a basic level. Are you saying this is a problem because it gets in the way of my own independence? Or will it help me to deal with the crossroads?
