Controllers Monitoring Leak at GUCP Tue, 16 Jun 2009 11:59 PM CDT The launch team here at Kennedy is monitoring a leak in the area of the Ground Umbilical Carrier Plate, which is the connecting point between the external tank and the launch tower. They already pushed tanking way later then normal causing them to re-plan certain events in the timeline to squeeze things in. So if they can not get this resolved they just will not have time to do the other things in time for launch. Still trying a couple things.....

They have started the count, continue to fuel. they are only testing and gathering data for the engineers though. The shuttle is NOT going to launch tonight though. they no longer have time to complete the crew boarding, inspections.... etc.
