TAXES TAXES TAXES!!! The smokers should ask for proof that they owe this tax money and how the state and federal come up with thier figures .

I believe you should be able to buy smokes, food, cars, any goods where you want aspecially if it is cheaper in another state without having to pay taxes again when you go back to your state , sounds like double taxation which is Illegal. .


Sounds more like you don't know much about how the world works.

Cigarette taxes are so-called 'sin taxes', and states could tax tobacco at $1000/pound if they wanted to, and there is nothing you can do about it except elect new people into office to get rid of the tax.

As for your 'double taxation' -- nonsense. If you want to go across state lines to use a good or service in another territory, then that's fine. If you intend to sneak back into your own state without declaring those products bought across state lines, then you deserve to get caught and pay up. You can't have it both ways -- if you want the goods and services provided by your state, then pay the damn taxes that provide it.
