actually, i should have explained better since you seem so interested in this new medical innovation.

the Jehovah witness man has been in hospital for a week but he no want blood, only seawater.
so the doctor said to him, seawater if very clean from teh middle of the ocean is just like plasma
so the Jeshova man say ; OK I try because i no can have blood ot Jehova kill me
so they give him a little bit at a time to give the body chanche to make fresh blood from sea water

Theoretically he could survive little bits at a time...
He's really lucky his immune systems is/was able to grow more red blood cells, he must have been pretty diluted.
