Why do people think the Myans had anymore insight than us?

If 2012 was really important and the TPTB knew it, I think anyone trying to talk about it would be DEAD. Instead, TPTB are promoting 2012 like Y2K.

David dIcke has said it and he's right, 2012 is the spiritual Y2K.

I put anyone who believes that 2012 will save humanity in the same category as people waiting for a rapture of the church. These fools probably still put teeth under their pillows for the tooth fairy.
