where do you live? lots of places have overlapping police depts.

I could see this as being part of the reason, but I have never seen this many. Last summer I could drive around town all day and maybe see one.

You make a good point about the overlapping departments; however, the overlapping hasn't changed recently, but the patrols have.

I took my Motorcycle out for a ride, and there were Pigs EVERYWHERE. Mostly cuffing and stuffing Mexicans, I am in SW Florida.

Just looking to make a buck. I've been pulled over twice in a month,luckily only warning tickets for safety issues.

Yes they are everywhere here as well. Most of them are on steroids. They look like they spend their whole day in the gym.

crack in windshield...broken tailight lens.I Drive a pickup so don't have to use seatbelt (Georgia).One note,they always come off as badasses,I just have a whatever attitude and bullshit my way outta tickets(so far).Luckily the old truck won't do much more than 65 mph. LOL

I haven't seen an increase in police presence..no. Although, I have seen more K9 units training at the park...or maybe meeting up to let the dog go pee.

July 4th is approaching, they'll be busier the week or two around it, just because of all the parties. Plus, a lot of high school graduation parties and similar things.

That's funny. I went to Colorado Springs last year and I was so shocked at how few cops I saw. A few at some street fair, and a ghetto bird. That was it.

I'm not in the Springs, but my friends say they have more than enough there.

Yes, more cops. But I am also in Co. on the western slope.

I am in small town NV. All the guys I work with have been pulled over. Everything from not stopping long enough at a stop sign. To burned out turn signals. Before couple weeks ago the cops only messed with tourists.

Now I am kinda worried. Looks like increases only in areas where people still like freedom!
