It is plausible given his connection to the Presley family that he could fake his won death to escape his legal and financial problems like his former father-in-law.

He would have a very hard time living in anonimity though. He doesn't exactly blend into a crowd.

The stretcher is sideways at first. The movement seen is the whole stretcher rotating so they can get it out. Watch at 8 seconds. See that orange blob appear, and become increasingly more apparent? That is the paramedic rotating it. Also, keep your eye on the orange bag underneath the stretcher. You'll see a faint black line through it, as if it is a strap or something. You'll see that move, too. The whole stretcher is rotating. If MJ really was faking dead, I doubt he'd bother playing dead on a stretcher. Getting a dummy would be so much more hassle free.
