Anonymous Coward User ID: 659821 United States 07/05/2009 10:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A totem maybe? Frog Energy Frog's song calls down the cleansing power of the rain. Frog is a reminder of the sacred power of tears to tranform and cleanse away sorrow. Frogs will die if away from moisture for too long, and thus Frog reminds us to refresh ourselves, and allow joy to moisten our lives and our hearts. If you are feeling "muddied" by the world, take a moment to dream, to laugh and cry and renew yourself. Frog also reminds us to cleanse our bodies, our environments and our auric fields. People with Frog energy should learn and utilize methods of psychic cleansing. Frog is able to work equally well in the realms of Earth/Air (conscious) and in Water (unconscious.), taking in the unconsicious almost by osmosis. Frog people are often artists, mystics, psychics and healers. They are often empathic, excellent at reading others and in knowing how to help them heal. Care must be taken however, not to become swamped by taking in the emotions of others. Frog reminds us to cleanse our bodies, our environments and our auric fields. People with Frog energy should learn and utilize methods of psychic cleansing so that they do not become bogged down. It is imperative to learn how to recognize when people, situations and circumstances are draining energy, and to cleanse them out of your aura so that you may sing freely. A tadpole's shape mirrors that of the spermazoa. Frogs are often seen as a symbol of fertility and creativity. Frog people should nourish their creative side. Frog people may go through many metamorphoses during their lives, and may change careers several times. Balance will come through respecting these changes and learning to go with the flow. So I grabbed it and took it out in the back yard about 100 yards from our house. Quoting: ZOSIMEA few days later after we had come home from work my husband said heck your not going to believe this the frog is back in the same place. So he removed it this time and took it farther away and let it go. I looked for any way the frog could of came in but can't find any. Another thing is we never use this door to go out. So few days ago the dang frog was back again and in the same place our door is a dark brown wooden door and has square decorative panels that has a tiny ledge it is about 8 inches from the floor this is where the frog will some how jump on and sit. So this time my husband took it way out over to the neighbors which we all live on appoxamtley 5 acres. Well today the frog is back again this time all we can say is this is freaking weird. It has to be the same frog I don't see a line of them waiting to get in and sit on our door panel. Anyway my question is how in the heck can the tree frog remember his way back and how is it getting in. any suggestions I really have no idea, but I just LOVE this story. Maybe you should just go ahead and build the little fellow a frog house .... Thanks for the post. Made my day, especially the sentence I bolded. HUGS |

Hillcrest User ID: 392015 United States 07/06/2009 01:31 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | first off: do you live in an earthquake zone, by any chance? wonder if it has something to do with the full moon we are having right now... could be animal totem: The frog is the totem of metamorphosis. It symbolizes coming into your personal power. It reminds us not to become bogged down with day-to-day living. It is the totem of water. Its voice calls forth the rains. Emotions are associated with water and a frog totem may be telling you to get in touch with your feelings. People with frog medicine give support and energy where it is needed. They can cleanse the negativity from an environment. [link to www.linsdomain.com] The Frog There are numerous species of frogs found all over the world. Their bodies are designed for jumping and their sharp eyes help them capture their prey, mostly insects. Because the frogs eyes bulge out from the sides of the head they are able to see in nearly all directions. This provides them with excellent depth perception. Frogs have a well developed sense of hearing. Behind each eye is a large disked membrane, an external eardrum that picks up sound waves and transmits them to the inner ear and then to the brain. This coupled with their exceptional sight give them both clairsentient and clairvoyant abilities. The frog produces sound similar to the way humans do by forcing air from the lungs over the vocal cords. Their variety of complex calls from ribbets to croaks associates it with language. Those with this totem have the potential to take command of the spoken word and are often bilingual. Tree frogs are strong jumpers and despite their toes being only half webbed they are also strong swimmers. One of the most interesting characteristics of the tree frog is the changing of its colors from bright red, green, orange, to aqua. Color change is brought about through the stimuli of light and moisture which create physiological change and result in contraction or expansion of the pigment cells in the skin. These bright colors appear on flanks, groin, surface of the thighs and the belly and serve in species recognition or in confusing predators. One species native to South America has brightly colored eyespots on its rump. When approached by a predator, the frog lowers its head, elevates its rump thus confronting the predator with a seemingly much larger head. The study of color and its affects on a persons psyche is helpful. With the exception of a few species, most frogs do not care for their young. They mate and then abandon their eggs. Because of this lessons associated with survival are common in frog medicine people. Scientists believe that the health of frog populations reflect the health of the eco system as a whole. Because frogs are found in water and on land they hold the magic of both. Water has long been associated with emotional cleansing. Mud the combination of earth and water is used in healing therapies to rid the body of toxins. Because those with this medicine are extremely sensitive the use of mud baths is advised. The frog is a totem of metamorphosis. Most frogs undergo a two stage life cycle. Eggs hatch into tadpoles which grow and eventually become adults. This signifies the awakening of ones creativity. When frog leaps into a persons life it is an invitation to jump into their creative power. To do this it is helpful to know which stage of life you are presently in. By studying the characteristics of the frog the discovery of your present life cycle is known. [link to www.sayahda.com] but maybe there is just an energy around your house that he enjoys... Water always wins. :sun: |

When I was small, there was a frog living near a water tank in our toilet. Then there was a frog war many hundred of miles from my home. Our frog disappeared before the frog war and was gone for some time. After the war was over the frog came back to the same place in our house. sounds weird isn't it? and the frogs war? it is true but thats another thread ! |
