63 Volkswagon Bug

It was 12 years old when we got it and my dad fixed it up.
Even had the floor mats with the VW Bug emblem on them
Thought I was cool. LOL

Had F*ckin' red '65 Buick LeSabre.....Dad's old piece. POS never would start without priming the carb with gas. We finally cured that problem when the f*cker caught fire and burned to the ground in the HS parking lot.

The next one wasn't much better being a bright orange '75 Chevy Vega GT. No AC, no FM, no power.....

I mowed lawns for 3 summers to buy it! It belonged to an ancient retiree that lived about 6 blocks from me, and he had lost his driver's license years before, so it just sat in his carport. I'd see him sitting in it and running the engine in his driveway once in awhile, and must have pestered him about it 100 times before he agreed to sell it to me.

I paid $2000 for it back then...it'd be worth about 30k now if I still had it....sigh...
