Anyone drink their own urine as a therapy?

Meth and heroin users know this- it is a clasic prohibtion thing. People get busted for using dope, and are thrown in jail. the long time residents know the drug passes through the body and is excreted as urine. This is what happens in the jails. The new fresh intakes are often forced to give their urine so some older dummy inmate and he drinks it and can get high on it.
Some addicts drink their own urine to continue being high, as they are desperate to get more of the drug.

The shamans of Siberia would feed the reindeer aminita muscaria and then drink the reindeer piss to get the hallucinogen without the toxins (having been filtered by the deer)...seems the towns people would then drink the shaman's piss as the hallucinogen would stay viable.
