worked in aluminum casting plant till Dec 15 this year

plant lost all contracts and went under

right now waiting for photography course in the fall

if shits guna hit the fan i want good pictures

Yeah, it's been great for me...

It's also been a LOT of hard work and a LOT of running in hampster wheels.... But considering it all... I do ok.

For all unemployed or badly employed people, you should consider a job in health care. There is a huge diversity of job opportunities, and everybody in the world needs health care, until the day they die.

i finished up college the end of last year with a degree in chemical engineering.

and....
now i'm back at my parent's after not staying here more than a week or 2 at a time for about 5 years since i finished high school. a little bit of an adjustment haha

I'm just not sure what i want to do now tho. I went into engineering frankly just for the money and now after doing it a few summers i kind of realized i'd rather do something i loved even if it paid less

So I'm kind of debating if i want to go to culinary school in August or not.
I'm going around cutting grass now. It's actually not that bad. I do a few yards a week for between $50 and $100 and I'm pretty much set.

Sounds exactly like me! I just graduated this past May (BS in biology) and I can't find a job anywhere! I've been mowing lawns and bush hogging my neighbors property for some cash. On Monday I start a part-time job counting money from slot machines at the racetrack/casino in town. The hours are 3:45 am - 9:00 am. Fun huh?

You should do what I'm doing and teach english in a foreign country. All that is required is a college degree and several of the Asian and middle Eastern countries pay pretty well. I'm trying to leave for Taiwan this December so I can skip the whole 'winter' thing.

I am thinking about going into that. I am afraid though that you need to be good with science and numbers to get through the schooling (I still add using my fingers...).

Hey that sounds interesting, work at a restaurant while doing an internship somewhere in chemical engineering (where they usually pay nothing :P ).

I got one of them there gubment jobs. 6 figures and not a chance in hell of me losing it. Don't have to lift a finger if I don't want to either thanks to the Union. I love America!!!
