I was always deeply infatuated with beautiful men. I was never attractive enough to keep them for long. I am above average but not a 10. This was the greatest sorrow of my life, believe it or not. The two most beautiful men I have ever seen were beyond my grasp.
I would not reproduce with the men I could attract. I had this artistic sensibility that might seem superficial but it was a real longing for beauty. Just being around these beautiful men was surreal. I could have spent my life drawing, painting, and photographing them. But I could not do it after they dumped me, for that would have been considered stalking or psychotic.

I don't know how a scientist could even make that claim. First, you would have to determine what country the study was done in. Apparently Brazil has the best looking people in the world.
Second, How could you just assume that everyone has the same taste? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Intelligence and kindness is very attractive. A man/woman can be gorgeous physically but if lacking a personality that matches. That would just be undesirable.. or ugly.

Perhpas this is the case in Europe and more specifically in Italy but outside of European or European descended women I am not at all sure that is true.

Arranged marriages for things like cattle and land are still prevalent and the mating is not always based on being attracted to another person.

Frankly I see Americans chase after a mate based on money. This usually produces a boyfriend/girlfriend match that doesn't make a lot of sense.

If anything, this goes towards proving the premise correct. The best looking women generally want to marry guys with money. The men's looks aren't as important as their earning potential.

What about all the poverty stricken people on welfare. Being young and dumb, doesn't necessarily mean you stay beautiful through adult hood. I think human beings are De-evolving. There are defiantly some neanderthals out there. People that have college educations have been shown to have fewer kids whereas, teenage pregnancy is on the rise. stupidity may be entertaining but not attractive.

This is my theory about America.

During the middle of the 19th century a shitstorm hit America. As a nation, we were falling apart with a huge depression the wars with europe, and the indians, and the Civil War. After about 20 years, the Expansionist past of the country happened. Millions of people headed west to find their fortunes. And they also had the worst blizzards ever seen, even by the natives. Millions starved. Millions died before they reached CA. The result is, a lowered population for a while followed by the Victorian age. Then the Industrial age on it's heels. The people from that era, the 1880-1950 era, were the most productive inventive and brilliant in our history.

Why? All those misfortunes from the previous 30-40 years culled all the idiots, weaklings and dipshits. Only the heartiest, smartest, more clever people survived and thrived.

when you're mostly made of plastic i'm sure you don't age nearly as fast.

1-2 fellow. Never had plastic surgery and still have my genuine hair color with no grey. I am full natural. Always looked younger. at 28 I have to show my ID to buy beer. Was a lot active with good natural alimentation. My son is 36 years old and look like young 20 maybe it is in our genes. Each time I told my age, peoples fall down. I think getting old in is your brain.
