Traficant release countdown begins - PRAYERS - PRAYERS - PLEASE

Date: Tuesday, 11-Aug-2009 00:39:42

I just received this from a friend. I pray it is true. Having been the wife of a political prisoner, I can't remember how many times they told us they were releasing him. We celebrated, we planned for our future... and then more charges were dug up and he was held for another year. Then we was to be released again... we planned, we celebrated... and then we discovered that charges from 6 years past were dug up. He was finally sentenced... with no trial... to 28 years in prison. And we had been celebrating his release a little over a month before.

These people like to inflict the largest amount of pain and suffering that they can... not just for the prisoner, but for the entire family as well. This happens to all prisoners... but it's worse for the
political prisoners.

AmeriKa has had a gulag for more years than any of us want to think. Some of our prisons are as bad as Abu Graib... or worse.

Let's hold a positive outcome for former representative James Traficant in our hearts and minds.

I pray he is strong enough to help us save our country. But I bet the FEDS have a muzzle order in place which means if he joins the protests or even writes about them he goes back to jail.

YOUNGSTOWN — When former U.S. Rep. James A. Traficant Jr. of Poland (Ohio) is released from federal prison Sept. 2 after seven years and one month of incarceration, he’ll get a rousing welcome home.

“We need to tell this guy: ‘We still love you, Jim,’” said Linda Kovachik of Boardman, who was an aide in the 17th District congressman’s Boardman and Youngstown offices.

Traficant is in good health and has been keeping his mind occupied while in prison with painting and music, Kovachik said. “He took up guitar. He’s playing the guitar now and singing,” she added.

“When he comes out of prison, I’m sure he will help anyone he can whether he’s in Congress or not,” Kovachik said.

“There are a lot of people in this Valley that are very excited about him coming home. I’m one of them,” said Heidi Hanni, a Youngstown lawyer, who has corresponded with Traficant during his incarceration.

Hanni said she also speaks regularly with Traficant’s wife, Tish, who is her hairdresser.

Tish Traficant declined to be interviewed.

Much more....
