the Barycenter is a moving point relative to an point on the earths surface, however it is roughly 1707 kilometers (1060 miles) below Earth's surface.
Of course all of this was covered in junior high when I went to school in the middle of the last century.
I suppose they no longer teach basic science at public schools anymore.
