What, you mean brought them together like the torture and murder Spanish Inquisition? Brought them together like the Salem witch trials? Brought them together in the genocidal slaughter of the native American peoples? Brought them together in the firebombing of Dresden? At Hiroshima? At Nagasaki?

If that's how your god brings folks together I guess I'd prefer to remain apart.
