Direct links are one technique to enable more effective communication on the fringe of sanity aka GLP

You haven't really flown 'till you've pushed the envelope.

Abreviations and Symbols such as aka = etc are others. 

4me = Acknowledge and Appreciate a Higher Power. 

Example of a direct link:

Glenn Beck asks the Ghandi question:
Thread: GOD IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! AMEN!!! (Page 6)

Read on for more direct links and more importantly how to create and use them for good effect. 

Here's a simple example:

What is a "one of a kind" way to catch a silly wabbit. 

Sure you could link to the page with the answer
Thread: What is a "one of a kind" way to catch a silly wabbit?

Or you could link directly to it.
Thread: What is a "one of a kind" way to catch a silly wabbit?

Here is how to create a link to one of your posts:

After you click "Post" an URL is generated and displayed. Right Click in the address bar at top of your browser and chose "copy" from the little drop down menu. 

Now you can paste this URL and acess it directly. 

Keep a log by pasting the direct links into MS notepad. 

Create a thread by pasting direct links to posts by subject with title. 

If you can edit posts then this thread can remain quietly in background until you update it sufficiently to warrant a bump.  

This can be like a table of contents that will allow quick access to all the information that you post on GLP.    

The advanced search feature will show which threads a particular user and/or member hast posted to. But trying to locate the actual posts can be a real pain on threads of more than a few pages.

Does anyone know how to create a direct link to posts other than your own?
