PM Harper embarasses Canada AGAIN

It seems that P.M. Stephen Harper will continue to be a dickhead concerning the return of Omar Khadr to Canada by appealing the Federal Court ruling that says he should be brought back to Canada from Guantanamo Bay and prosecuted here. Regardless of the fact that Omar Khadr was considered a "child combatant" by the international community, since he was only 15 years old when he was accused, Harper insists that the U.S. prosecute him to the full extent of their capabilities. Obama has already said that he wants everybody out of Guantanamo Bay and Harper said that he doesn't want Omar Khadr back in Canada until he's been prosecuted by the U.S.

What I want to know is WHY is the Prime Minister of Canada, Stephen Harper, so afraid of letting Omar Khadr come back to Canada? There MUST be more to it than meets the eye.
