We had pop up storms around sunset, and when we checked the radar, there was a 'bloom' of storms coming out of major metropolitan areas all across the region...Austin, Dallas, Lubbock, Amarillo, Oklahoma City, and just north of Houston. It was bizzare, it spread out like a virus and spawned some short but intense storms. Didn't think to screenshot it, will if it happens again. We weren't complaining because it was the first rain we've had in MONTHS! No shit. Today was noticably nicer, the clouds were back to normal and the air felt much cleaner and fresher. Wonder what in the hell was up...weather control or mother nature fighting back? |
