a Royal Berkey water filter with all spare parts & spare filters. Got 2 free sport bottles with it and bought 2 spare filters for those too. Pretty big purchase but it's a good thing crossed off my list.

i would probably use one if i lived right next to a stream. i got a UV purifier if needed. tub bladders aren't a bad idea.

I've always wanted to own a Rolls Corniche Convertible. I found a nice used one for very little money (compared to the cost of the same car new or the cost of a new on - which is over $400k now - and I like the body style on the 1990's or the early 2000's but not so well as the 1989 model with its' rounded headlights. So I found it, and bought it. I can probably drive it for a year and sell it again and not loose much. Or keep it and pass it on to my daughter someday when I'm tired of it. This one has very low mileage and all books and service records since it was new. Stupid and self-indulgent I grant you. But it's making a long time dream come true...

And that's always nice to do for yourself...
