I am nearly sure about a connection between the timing of my "awakening" and part of the story of the film. A few spoilers follow.
In it, young Spock (in this perspective) gets in touch with an older Spock (from an alternate perspective or time) in order to change the course of the future.
The older, wiser Spock is Chaol and the younger Spock is me. The two Spocks are both known as "Spock" in the movie.
This occurred to me when Spock made the live long and prosper gesture with his hand, which formed an obvious 1-2-3/5 configuration. (Grouping of 5 fingers into 3.) I'm not sure if the gesture itself is relevant but that's how I made the connection.

Talking about Triad's claw. The gesture represents '666' and an inverted ideology that evolved over thousand of years since Neanderthals migrated from the other Earth to live among us today.
Captain Kirk, talking about the man he defeated, said "There will always be those who mean to do us harm. To stop them, we risk awakening the same evil within ourselves." The 'elite' may have started with good intentions but actually became what they were fighting against.
Resolving the issues involved listening to 'the enemy' and taking opposing forces into consideration.
