It's not. It is not near lethal enough. The plague that is the Revelation Pale Horse must kill 1/3 of the population.

Swine flu, even the 1918 variety, didn't come close to killing that many.

They call it swine flu, but that is not accurate. This flue is really a combination of AVIAN, SWINE and TWO forms of HUMAN flu. That's why this is such a big deal.

The pale horse is just one of four horsemen. They all ride together. Pandemics will follow shortly after war and famines.
