If everybody worked half as hard, we could have 100% of the people doing the work. Before people get all huffy, I'm also joking. There would still be money problems |

The one where the whole state just falls into the ocean. |

It maybe socialist but its fair an earthquake indiscriminately culls the useless eaters, its the best kind of eugenics natural and done by God. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 716921 ![]() 09/07/2009 06:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Here is a thought... Take the number of people on food stamps in California or in Section 8 housing and multiply that by 2 feet. That would be the space they would take up in a soup line and then divide that number by the number of feet in a mile and see how many miles of food lines there would be in California. Maybe then people would quit calling this a Recession and label it a depression. Just because the people are not in the street does not mean they dont exist. Its just now the Food Stamp program is keeping them out of the Soup Kitchen Line. We need a New World Order.... Not Obamination....in the New World Order we all have jobs. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 754456 ![]() 09/07/2009 06:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is a very scarry peice of news. Only 57.5 % of adults in California is working. Thats ~ to half. That is why my state is broke. Huge entitlements for people not to work, a lack of industry, and bad management. An academic view of Californian History is boom and bust. Please Read the full article. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 765202[link to www.venturacountystar.com] If you back out those among that 57.5% who are working for local, state and federal government the percentage is probably 25%. Twenty five percent supporting the other 75%. This isn't going to last much longer... |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 742863 ![]() 09/07/2009 06:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | californisites seem to be convinced they are too big to fail. Ie the the 270 odd million americans who don't live there , will have to pony up to bail them out. they are in for a rude fucking suprise , especially the ones involved in usless eater inc industries. thats right 90 % + of you could die off and all the critical infrastructure stuff would run just fine with you gone. ![]() |

Why not press your tiny brain under a board laden with rocks and see if an idea dribbles out? I'm not a hate monger, and i certainly don't wish for california's situation to be the way it is. I'm not responsible for the poor economic state of california or the USA. IMO Dr Pete Petersen is 100% correct in his assertion that your leaders and banking systems (past/present) have completely lied cheated and stole from all of you and the vast majority of people seem to be completely unaware and don't seem to care one iota either way. Where is the onus to be placed? |
