History in the seven days of Creation
2Peter 3:8 states.."Do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day"
we must understand that prophetically, sometimes a day represents a thousand years. this is why the millenium reign of Christ is sometimes referred to as ´the day of the Lord,´
Give or take a hundred years, we can determine the time of Adam until today.. generally it is about 6,000 years since Adam..we are coming to the end of the 6´th day prophetically..

Day 1) God seperated the light from the darkness. During the first 1,000 year period of history, we have the fall of man and the conflict between light and darkness.

Day 2) the waters were seperated. during the second 1,000 year period, the Flood occurred and the waters that had been over the earth in a midst came down in the first rain.

Day 3) God gathered the waters into seas. Waters often represent peoples( for instance, "the waters which you saw where the harlot sits are peoples[Rev. 17:15]. In the third 1,000 year period of history man built the tower of babel and people were formed into nations.

Day 4) God seperated the day and night and created the sun, moon, and stars. During the fourth 1,000 year period the Lord Jesus was born(the sun), satan was fully revealed as the one who rules the night (the moon) and the apostles led the church (the star). In Scripture the apostles are often referred to as stars. This was the true seperation of light and darkness on earth.

Day 5) God created the "great sea monsters." During the fifth 1,000 year period the powerful and monstous religions of the world were formed that were to rule the ´seas´ or peoples, such as Islam, Hinduism, and some of the powerful and dominating institutions of Christianity that would devour so many.

Day 6) the creatures multiplied. During the sixth 1,000 year period, we see every religion and philosophy in the world multiplying into many offshoots. at the end of this day we also have man created in the Lord´s image. When we come to the end of this period, the world is going to see a church that is re-created in His image, without spot or wrinkle, walking in the ´measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ" (Eph. 4:13)

Day 7) God rested. the next 1,000 year period of man´s history will see the return of the Lord and the setting up of His kingdom. Then the ´Lord of the Sabbath´ will reign over earth as promised.
James 2:23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.

I used to think like you, 211. I have an academic scientific background.

Then I made a serious study of man´s real origins; and I was astonished to find that God DID create man. I dropped my atheism and objectivism and became a follower of Yehshua, in The Way.

His words are true. You can count on them.

Re: History in the seven days of Creation
IMHO, from my studies, Gen. 1:1...God created the "heavens" and the earth...this was anywhere from hundreds of millions of years ago, to maybe billions of years ago.

Isaiah ch 14 is clear that there was intelligent life on earth before the creation of Adam, the pre-Adamic races. Satan was cast out of heaven, fell upon the earth (he made the earth "to tremble"), and all life was destroyed. This was God´s first judgement of planet earth...the Ice Age, as described in Job ch 9 and 39.

In Gen. 1 where God said "let there be light", He was granting permission for the sun to shine again...Job 9 clearly states that God refused to let the sun shine upon the earth, therefore Ice.

The Genesis 1 account is His restoration of earth, not the creation of it. After He restored all of the plant life, animal life and the "continent" (there was only one body of land in this process), He created Adam and gave him dominion (soverign rule) over the entire earth and everything in it. Adam could command the wind to stop, and calm the seas, just like Jesus did.
James 2:23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.

How does that work...I´m not a scientist or educated in that area, but when we live in a world or micro-climate, that supports life from other life..How could life be supported in the case of evolution, when other life is not there to support.

How would a bird evolve with no food to eat yet , or did evolution only take a couple hours

Good observation. Yes, I would agree that the Genesis comment means that God caused the Sun to switch on. Job 9:7 is an allusion that God causes the Sun to switch off periodically.

I would hazard to say that the creative ´days´ were epochs and NOT 24 hours days. OT word usage would permit this view. Those creative days may be 7000 earth years long based upon the length of the 7th day which is yet complete.

The comments "an evening and a morning" appears to reference long-term cycles of chaos. Approximately every 5000-7000 years the Sun switches off and the planets wander off their course when the solar system broaches a zone on its orbit thorough the galaxy. This is the "evening" of instabilty and darkness. A "morning" or new dawning happens when the Sun switches back on and stability resumes.

Also, a solar switch-off is not the only means to produce ice. Ice is currently produced via precipitation. But heat is required for precipitation.

Genesis 1:5
God called the light Day, and the darkness night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.

this is quite literally a 24 hour period

Problem with the dating of Adam to 6000 years ago is that the first Messiah came at the Meridian of Time.

I said first Messiah because the Hebrews believed that there are in fact two Messiahs. The military Messiah and the Messiah of Peace. This is why they turned on Yeshua...they were expecting the Military Messiah at the time. Their country was being occupied and their people subjugated. When Yeshua showed up they looked to him to be a military leader when he turned out to represent Peace they turned on him like so many of the disillusioned do.

As to the question of science, by the very definition of science you cannot prove that something does not exist. You can only prove that you have not found it yet. Scienctists are just as guilty of lying and faking writings to prove their positions as organized religion is.

Tit for tat...no wonder so many are seeking answers from those who cannot provide them.

Then why is it that Jews don´t even beleive that crap? I mean after all, it´s their testament and their language.

Besides, everyone, even the Jews, knows that it is a poorly abridged version of older Shumerian stories.

Uh, a good number of Jews do believe that "crap", as you put it. Stereotyping the entire faith because of a few non-traditionalists is hardly fair.

That would be like saying that all scientists believe that time is linear because I talked to one or two tards that believed it.

Please explain why was God in a rush?

Yom or Day infers 24 hours and other periods of varying length. "Evening and morning" are not at all suggestive of a 24 hour creative day.

WOW. I appreciate all science has obtained, and offerd to progress our society, but to compete with the phenomininity[I made that word up]of lifes existances is in fact obsurd. I speak the above comment with more logic than ever bereing NEWfound information like mentioned in the above paragraphs such as 1 year in biblical scripture can, and often is relative to 1,000 years in present common knowledge, As far as beeing dillusional-----I don´t know, but that book was written by a litterary genius. I find it hard to beleive that it was written by some old timer [drunk] especially considerering the souce can´t even spell S.O.M.E
