I went to Gateway Church in Austin, Texas last Sunday morning, and the church's worship leader, who is a dark-haired guy (don't know his name) who sings lead vocals and plays lead guitar, did that hand signal several times during our praise and worship session. He did it when he sang "Hallelujah." I wish I had it videotaped. My jaw about hit the floor. And someone better not give me the B.S. "But it's Longhorn country" as an excuse. That man is a Satanic infiltrator.

There is more abominable things going on in that church besides that. But I'll stick to the hand signal for this thread.

Actually, I think they do videotape their sermons, so maybe I could find it online. If I do, I'll post it here for everyone to see.

Well, these two dudes reached MILLIONS of people and popularized it...

Perhaps a more sinister question is whether or not the proliferation of this sign had a darker motive than just juvenile entertainment...

I have seen something like that representing a wolf's head also. The two raised fingers are the ears, middle finger and ring finger face forward and form the snout together with the thumb. It's shown in one of those photos you have linked.

In most cases though I think people are using it, because it looks kinda cool. For example I have my doubts, that the insinc (sp?) guys or all those rappers are even remotely smart enough to be part of a giant conspiracy to enslave all mankind. They are probably used as tools, but they don't know shit.

Why do people always have to bring religon into it?

What better way to do it, but through the influence these people have over us, especially our children.

Take a look at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Most of these people (artists) are on there, chosen by our children.

The meaning of symbols is not always the same. For instance what you think as long horns is understood by others as Shaka Brau.  Brau was explained to mean brother by members of my wifes family when we first went there to be married in the Fern Grotto.

It is sign of baphomet, luciferian worshippers use it. I have seen influental people across the globe doing it..and of course some commoners heavy metalists as well but they have no idea what it really means.

That's a universal Satanic symbol. Any other story is just that, a story.

None of that in my house...I was raised by a Texas Aggie. He'd disown me for any "hook-em horns!" And I graduated from Baylor- all we did was our silly "sic 'em bears" bear claw wave. The Shaka Brau is a different hand sign.

What does “Aloha” mean?  According to To-Hawaii.com, “aloha” can mean hello, goodbye, love and affection.  But its meaning goes well beyond any definition you can find in dictionaries.  In Hawaii, you hear aloha all the time and you are treated with aloha everywhere.  (Hawaii is called the Aloha State, and for good reason.)  Aloha express the charm, warmth and sincerity of Hawaii’s people.  It was the working philosophy of Native Hawaiians; they felt it was presented as a gift to the people of Hawaii by one of their ancient gods.

That was quite a good site that you linked to. I have seen 10 or 12 of the pictures elsewhere, but there where some really good ones that I was unaware of.

Guess who is being touted as a role model in that school speech that Obama is making? JK Rowling of Harry Potter fame. I must have done at least 6 or 7 Harry Potter threads over the years. But people don't respond anymore so I stopped doing them. Elaine who was the founder and owner of GLP, before Trinity took over in late 2004, was closely associated with Anton La Vey and a Buddhist witch. She used to pretty much let me have a go at anything else, but start bashing Buddhism and it was... thread deleted.
