Uhm, are you saying that if everyone was as knowledgable as you, then people wouldn't use "Amen" as the affirmation of their prayers? Is that your point?

What would people say at the end of their prayers if your point gets across to the whole world? Is some preacher going to say "Can I get an UH-HUH!?" because that doesn't carry the pagan implications of your point?

I have no opinion. I'm not religious, nor do I follow any man-made dogmas. I assume they can say whatever word they want, however, it doesn't change the origin of the word "Amen", nor does it change it's meaning subliminally.

Are choirs around the world going to suddenly end their hymns with "Oooookay then!!!" instead of Amen? No.

People will shrug their shoulders and continue saying Amen in agreement, and you'll be the one who looks silly as people just get your point, realize it is lame, and move on with saying "Amen".

True, but, still.. the actual meaning and history of the term is relevant. It means that stupid people are really praying to the "God" of an ancient Egyptian religion.
