REGARDING: CDC in ATL a question that recurrs in my mind...

With the "swine flu," rumors or nuke or bio warfare, etc...people/sources always cite "Major Cities" as being places where the bad stuff is going to go down...East Coast, West Coast, never middle America. My question, to you good people of GLP is, would anything "self-inflicted" by our US standards ever really happen in Atlanta? If this is where the bad virus & disease style information comes from, wouldn't it make sense for any "terrorist" type group to take Atlanta out?

I live here. I always think when I hear (on the news or in the type news we go through here on GLP) "From the CDC in Atlanta"..."well hell, if they just took out ATL all hell would break loose!"

What's the deal with this for anyone who knows a lot more than I do? Are we safe in Atlanta as they may be the puppeteers, or are we more in danger because of all the scary stuff going on down the street from me.

Seriously, I think about this all the time. I've even had weird dreams (the cold sweat at 3 am type) involving the CDC or CDC undertones.

Should a city like Atlanta (which is the major Hub of the South as well as basically the capitol of the South) be more or less worried with all the SHTF possibilities?

Would love some input.
