What's with all the airplane accidents in the US?
Look at the map.... at least 20 airplane accidents in the last 3 days.

Never seen anything like it.

Any explanations?

So I presume that this is normal?

Do you give pilot license to just anyone?

as a graduate of a college of aeronautics, I can tell you first hand, most accidents are due to poor maintenance (which is my field - bachelor of science in aviation maintenance management).

I can believe that.... but still, I think it is quite strange that so many accidents happened in the last couple days and almost all in N America.

thats very possible of those companies have their planes maintained at the same facility. If a particular facility is cutting corners and using unsafe maintenance practices, chances are you will find a pattern thruout the planes they maintain. You should find out the maintenance facility that worked on those planes, see if theyre the same.

Re: What's with all the airplane accidents in the US?
Well they all look like small private planes, since the numbers of affected people is around 0-4....

So I don't really think I would be able to track the repair facility for them all.

And since the accidents are scattered all over N America, I can't really see that being a possibility.

Just too many lame pilots?

So your only point would be that the US repairmen are the most ineffective in the whole world?

Possibly...

The repair issue has always been a problem...airlines cutting costs during a Recession (Depression now actually).

But now they are using this excuse - previously covered - to now cover what is REALLY going on. Those who Understand this do not want to fly...

Most accidents are not caused by bad maintanance but bad judgement.

I think it is because N America is where the most privately owned planes are. Just statistics. More activity of late with lots of corporate shakeups because of the economy.

I'd love to see the data reporting your statement. According to the NTSB (National Transportation and Safety Board) the vast majority of aviation accidents and incidents are caused by pilot error. Only a very small percentage of them are caused by incorrect maintenance.

Re: What's with all the airplane accidents in the US?
after an article that was put online on an internetsite a few hours ago, about this news about alot of plaincrashes only in America in the past few days, about 45 of the 50 crashes within one hour disappeared from the emergency site EDIS? there are now only five that are shown if you take a look again at the map... wtf

To give you something to compare quickly, check the first link (that was a few hours ago):

[link to niburu.nl]

And what it is like now (one hour after the article has been brought out:

[link to hisz.rsoe.hu]

Now something definitly doesn't add up here. What do you think?

The first link is the picture (as you've seen), as it was before. The article is basicly just about the hughe amount of crashes, and about the fact that after they've posted the article online an hour after it disappeared (the disappear part was an update in the article). Now I can send you the link of the article too, but only if you are good in reading Dutch you'll understand it stoner

Re: What's with all the airplane accidents in the US?
l.s.

I am Dutch, and if anyone wants a translation it will not be very interesting. What is interesting is what are the different accident types about. Seem to be a lot of landings and take-offs. What is the common denominator. Could glitches in the earth magnetic field be the cause. Or are we looking at a solar/EM related issue. Maybe pressure valve problems so flyers cannot see the real hight or speed of the aircraft....

Can we track one or two of the flyers for an explanation ???

Stay save
Erik
