Glenn Beck back in 2004 if my memory still works correctly turned his T.V. off for 90 days as an experiment. The results were stagering. He DID what you just suggested..no?

Seriously - I can't think of a thread that could make the above point more clearly. Does any of this bullshit that you're all babeling on about make any difference? ACORN, healthcare, immigration, religion, racism, blah blah blah?

Could any of you go to work, do the exact opposite of what your boss wanted, cost the company money, and expect to have a job for very long? Likely not. Fox News is not a public service, it's not a journalistic outlet. It's a business. Anything coming out if it is only designed to better that business, not to better you or the country.

Regardless of whether or not he's speaking truthfully about certain topic, or whether he's covering issues the media currently ignores misses the point.

You're sitting in a fundamentally bankrupt country that's about 6-8 weeks from beginning to collapse around you, but rather than taking action, you funnel all that energy into Glen Beck. You let someone give voice to your observations, so that you don't have to take any action yourselves. He gives you an outlet for your frustration, and in his absence more people would be likely to take direct action to bring about change. Do you not think TPTB realize that?

Do you really think all this name calling is going to help when TSHTF? For all you know, these people you're bitching about are your neighbors, and guess what, you're all going to need each other to get through what's coming.

Instead, though, you're allowing a massive corporation to get you so fundamentally aligned with one point of view and worked up over it that you'd rather lash out at your fellow Americans than work with them.

TPTB are masters of repression through fear and violence, and ANYTHING coming out of the mainstream media only has divisiveness and conflict at it's core.

This division does nothing but feed into their mechanism of control. What they can not control, and what they can not defend against, is non-violent cooperation. Ignore them and you take away their power. Deify them, regardless of the POV, and you simply give them more power.

Time to grow up. If you truly believe in a future for America, then it's time to start working together to take it back. No billion dollar "news" corporation is going to help you do that. But it WILL help keep everyone polarized, because the only way we can defeat it is together.

And now, emboldened by the resignation of White House green jobs adviser Van Jones, Beck and Fox have launched an all-out witch hunt against Obama officials and nominees.

Fox isn't going to change on its own. We have to expose the network for what it is. We have to fight back.
