So why would TPTB do this? What is the point of this predictive programming? Why even stage the miracle on the Hudson? What did that accomplish?
I'm not picking. I'm making a serious inquiry. What reasoning can you give to this (if you have any yet)?

By purest good fortune, the airplane was the only type in the world to sport an autoditch feature that sealed all openings in the event of a ditch. (Such foresight is part and parcel of the Miracle.) My guess is that there were several SEALS or similiar forces in civilian clothes scattered amongst the passengers, with orders to allow no one to die in this particular event.
