Thanks, I am going to do some research on things such as your comment, along with the latitude/longitude of the crash compared to what you can see in Iron Man's HUD & post what I find. Might be nothing, who knows. Interesting none the less.

Also, notice at 1:16 of the linked clip you can see what looks a lot like a single World Trade Center tower in the background.

I got a a plane crash occurring in "New York City" in a 2006 superhero cartoon, 3 years before an identical actual plane crash that happens in 2009 in apparently the same location, that have at least the same numbers in the same position in both the movie & real crash latitudes & longitudes!

155 passengers saved = 1+5+5 = 11

The cartoon shows the aircraft coming in from the south of manhattan flying over the brooklyn bridge. You can tell because of the pedestrian walkway and the statue of liberty behind the aircraft and not in front of it.

The aircraft winds up under the Manhattan Bridge.....

Interesting 787877, so the plane in the movie comes from the south & the real plane came in generally from the north, right? Thanks for the details. I have spent time in the area, but unfortunately more in NJ than in NYC.

I make no claims here, just that it is extremely odd for the movie to mirror such a specific extraordinary event such as this one, and 3 years prior. I know planes crash, superman saved a plane in the latest movie, etc., but the synchronicity of the movie & the real event are undeniable. Thoughts?

I understand what you are saying ac580142, that is why I posted this after I saw it. I had watched some other animated movies & went looking for others & came across this movie. I was just watching it for fun & then the plane is landed on the Hudson just like the real crash, well except for Iron Man of course ;-)

It is also interesting that the plane is saved by Tony Stark aka Iron Man, a man made rich from the military industrial complex that even Isenhower warned us about & has flourished since 9/11...


I have read that the Hudson is the best place to land around the area in an emergency, so I guess the filmmakers could have known this and used the idea in the movie. It is simply very interesting that the location & visuals match up so closely. Synchronicity? Synchromystic? I am interested in the thoughts of others as well...

The TV station that is there is WIMY 12 & there are 12's on the front of each of the SHIELD planes pursuing Iron Man. He says "He's made us" because Iron Man hears a transmission about them wanting to make contact with him. Ok, they say he is surrounded by civilians, so those news crews are not part of SHIELD undercover, but the WIMY 12 trucks are undercover SHIELD? SHIELD soldiers appear, so that probably is the case, but why would you bother to put "12"s on your obviously military planes that also have the SHIELD emblem on the side also? Are they trying to pretend to be "WIMY 12 military news aircraft"? Painting a 12 on the front of your military aircraft that also has the SHIELD emblem on the side is not very "undercover".

The Miracle on the Hudson happened only days before Obama's inauguration.

It was the Happy Ending to psychologically (perhaps, magically?) counterbalance 911 and inaugurate a "New Beginning" of Hope and Change.

By purest good fortune, the airplane was the only type in the world to sport an autoditch feature that sealed all openings in the event of a ditch. (Such foresight is part and parcel of the Miracle.)

My guess is that there were several SEALS or similiar forces in civilian clothes scattered amongst the passengers, with orders to allow no one to die in this particular event.
