Obama Has Nasty Email to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Saved in Drafts Folder

Washington - In an effort to prove that President Obama is taking the threat of a nuclear Iran seriously, the White House announced today that a harsh email directly rebuking Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been in President Obama's draft folder for weeks, Underneath Politics has learned. "The President has almost hit the 'send' button numerous times," said White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs. "On a couple of occasions he's even opened the email draft with the express purpose of removing a few 'pleases' and adding some 'harsh consequences.' Were the President to ever send the letter, I have a feeling Mr. Ahmadinejad would think twice about building his nuclear arsenal for fear of getting a follow up email. I know whenever I get a terse correspondence from the President I work hard to change whatever it is he's upset about and I see no reason why leaders of Islamic nations would react differently." According to Mr. Gibbs, if the email is sent and a response not received within two weeks, President Obama will either send a follow up, or assume Mr. Ahmadinejad is out of town.
