The brake works fine or a foot in front of the wheels-even when the pram is parallel to the tracks- this is why some should not be parents-until they learn some basic sense...or how many children die from accidents-an example of ignorance in action |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 287857 United States 10/16/2009 01:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | brake levers are on prams for a reason-use them-same as emergency brakes few use-I know very long ago a woman lost a door on her car due to a "kid' shifting gears and not knowing how to shift back-had that woman used an emergency brake...her car would of never moved... kids do stupid things, adults have less latitude to be so ignorant. A pram could easily roll out off a sidewalk-people need to take precautions or if it is too much-stay singel and without children. Hopefully she KEEPS HER PRIORITIES STRAIGHT phone child child phone shouldn't be so difficult... |

I think the lady in the black coat that walked back into the shop was more horrified than the mum, she had her hands over her face in shock. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 795789 Australia 10/16/2009 06:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | As a toddler, I too fell under a train but after it had stopped. I slipped between the platform and the step resulting in a huge bump on my forehead and a very distraught Mother. Sixty + years later, I don't remember it but my Mother never forgot it. But the pain and agony this mother went through must be almost unbearable thinking your child had perished. She will never forget the brake on the pram again. I hope and pray she comes through it and has peace up the road about it. She appeared to trip as she began running to save her baby. That trip probably saved her own life as she was about one second from death herself, beginning to jump down on the tracks in front of the train, Mother love that is called. |
