Increase In post-apocalyptic Dreams

I tell my boyfriend about my dreams every night and now he's starting to remember his in the mornings :-o

I had a strange dream last night nothing remote to what I have ever dreamed before.

I dreamed I saw a variety of animals that had, I assummed, in the dream, been the victims of road kill.

The odd thing was they all had white fur. This dream left me with a feeling of sadness and shock.

I had this a year ago

There were two universes, one blue one purple.
Ours was blue.
And they were combining, like to large oceans crashing into each other.
All the stars and galaxies, morphing into greater celestial bodies...
Like a big change, a better one.

I thought I'd like to add that

I dreamed of animals last night, I was at a zoo/museum of sorts with lots of animals. I took two of the animals home with me, and then forgot about them in my car, when I rushed outside to go to my car, my car wasn't anywhere to be found. Then I realized it had been a dream; a dream within my dream, have never had that happen before.One of the animals was a very lively red frog, couldn't have been more than 2 inches long but when he jumped in the box I had him in, he felt like he weighed 5lbs. The other was a very small juvenile rat, male, when I put my hand in the rat enclosure to take a rat, most of them scurried or tried to bite, this one was content with me, so I grabbed him...lol weird

I love dream analysis and we're all so amazingly unique that a dream can't be fully accounted for, even by the dreamer.

That said, the hive mind at GLP has definitely been a bit on the apocalyptic side!

I have had a few animal attack dreams lately, same with my girlfriend. (Grizzlies, Polar beras, and wolves)

In one, a polar bear jumped on me and i had such intense fear i woke up, this has also happened with several others.

I've never had it before but it has developed within the last few months. More and more nightmares than I've ever had in my life. These all have intense fear, where i breath rapidly and wake up from up. I'd say my average is about 1.5 of these nightmares a week now.

So much i went to look for more info online and found out that I might have developed something called "Nightmare Disorder":

Last week I was torn to shreds by a grizzly bear and could feel it very intensely.

three nights ago I had an extremely large bull charge at me repeatedly.

A few days before and after I came back from China (October 13, 2009, Tuesday), I had vivid, disturbing dreams. I do not remember the specific details of the dreams. I only remember that the dreams freaked me out.

I followed a link from orion2012 on voice chat and came to this lady...weird.....

had an awful dream the other night about my daughter, and she dreamt last night that me and my wife drowned in a mega tsunami

I dreamed today about me gathering with a group of young people and searching out bodies of water to clean our selves and fish in.

Society was still "normal" but a large number of us were considered outcast types. The economy was still going but there was a sharp, sharp gap between rich and poor.

Only the essential businesses were still thriving, grocery stores, medical assistance (senior homes), all other "luxury" businesses had been shut down and the buildings used for government agencies, but there didn't seem to be a strong police force, if any.

We saw one restaurant that was packed full, it looked really fancy and the people seemed disgusted as we walked by, a Japanese bistro type place. Everyone who was in clean clothes was very demeaning and appalled by us younger, "dirty" folk.

We all had different skills and abilities, we helped each other, taught each other. I generally don't like to lead, but I and another older male took Leadership positions because of our sheer amount of ideas. I woke up when we found the lake.

Knowledge is going to mean everything in the end, how to fish and hunt, where to find water, where to find vegetation, plants and herbs and how to use them. I can't study enough for this.

Ever think maybe if you quit feeding the doom energies that life might change? Why do you think agent provocateur is still in business??? He helps them more than he hurts them.. same wih this place, if you want change for the better quit reading about doom. If we are out of time and bad shit is coming, why are you still typing??

The majority of my dreams occured 1995 - 2001. Most of them were cinematic - like of me running for my life, seeing missles launched and cities burning. I saw Nebraska hit with a missle in my dream.

One particular dream I had was that a mexican army had taken over California and was killing people in my neighborhood.

Another, the Chinese had invaded and I was running along a ditch of a highway up north as military tanks moved past me.

There are so many other dreams I have had of living in a police state and being randomly pulled over to have my ID checked and sent home. In that dream, there was a national curfew of 10 pm.

I have also had many disturbing dreams of another concentration camp situation here on U.S. soil but Americans were being held.

I'm glad that I don't have these dreams anymore now. I have been keeping a dream journal since 1992, and it's pretty interesting to see some things that I have dreamt about come to pass.

What's cool is to get you a little digital recorder and have it nearby. You can keep track of your dreams and listen to them years later. :)

Perhaps the dreams are processing the future some could be the past, our ancestors past.I have had some again recently which make me unable to get back to sleep till I have forgotten what I dreampt.For me this recent cycle started sometime after the begining of August and are bad as I have a sense of terror which is so very strong. For a long time now I have found the Autumn so very hard to get through.It sometimes seems as though the earth is resisting the return to her mid - winter position.

Hi I'm the OP of this thread...I feel theres a seas rising up soon also. Many prophetic dreams over the years.

Have one about people in the park with white 'aeroplanes & red dots/circles at front side' like in the war (could be helicopters also?)and there are like 'droplets of rain' falling...soon people are saying 'Run, don't let the drops touch you'??

Nothing quite beats a nice dream of DOOM.

Makes me feel all warm inside.

Mine are like im looking and from far away in the sky lights are heading towards us everyone is running these things are like aliens landing striaght down not landing like a plane.Then there are more coming by the thousands.
Everyone is scared like we all know its bigger then us.

I don't beive in Aliens but i do believe in Demons so i think the battle in heaven has come to earth.

i know its a bit of a long shot BUT JUST MAYBE.

You and your ilk are phsyco symatically stimulating this sort of panick because of the way the media and the NET including up and coming 2012 movies ect ect. Your country is in recession/depression as is mine and the future is a scary place. Lots of threats of more "WAR" losing your home and the fact you know that you are being lied to constantly. Violence on the streets drugs everywhere . religious nuts telling you its game over and to save your soul. I can go on and on . Most people seem morally devoid of caring anymore and the Ego self is ever prevalent.

Now the human brain is trying to get you ready for the fight or flight reflex because you are under a false sense of stress.This is normal and was what our brain allowed us in the times when we hunted for our food. It is an old survival technique we use at times of stress so that our performance can be enhanced and our chance of survival raised because of faster reaction brought on by fear at the crucial moment .ie automatic reaction without thinking.

You must realise that control of large populations is much easyier in times of trouble if panick and a sense of fear and unknown are allowed to prevail. divide and conquer is the next similar method.

Human beings try to interperit dreams to litrally. America is on the wane and the parasite that lives off it as we all are to this earth is becoming aware of its demise.

You may have to go to a war soon so how better than to destabilise your senses before commiting you to your own armageddon by allowing you to fear the outsideworld and what everyone else (THE BAD GUYS) around the world wants to take from you.

Of coarse you are all now glued to the screen beleiving all that is cast unto your gaze.

MY answer is enjoy the schadenfrau and DOOM because it will now probably become your own self delivered prophecy.

It is happening because thats what prophecy does.

It is the result of media implying subliminal messages to your subconscious data thanks to articles, news, warner bros movies and many things we have nowadays.

Humanity has been living in this world for like thousands of years yet in the last 2000 we got our own civilzation, in the last 200 we improved our lifestyle, in the last 20 we recreated technology and in the last 2 we have 2012. For the love of god, you see where this is going?

My kid had one last night that the whole world turned to water.

I had one a few weeks ago that was post-apocalyptic, but it actually seemed better than the society we are now living in!

I've been going through a rough time lately and I asked God in my prayers to please show me what's going to happen to me and if everything's going to be alright. Well, that night I saw big, white, bold font on a black background that just said "7/2010" and I heard a big, booming voice (I assumed was God's) said "The start of a new beginning..."

I then heard a southern man's voice say "well this is what happened after the earthquakes hit North Carolina and Georgia." Then the lights came up and I saw my surroundings. I was sitting in a lush, green forest; just full of fruit and veggie plants/trees. There were no houses or buildings, cars, roads, cell phones, or ipods, just a giant, pristine clear blue lake that was reflecting the amethyst colored dusk sky. I could hear birds and frogs, I saw a mama deer and her baby getting a drink out of the lake, and a couple of rabbits went hopping by.

There were about 50 other people there. And amazingly nobody was stressed out or worried. Not about money or jobs, or even food and shelter. There was no arguing about who got the most property or food or who was going to be the leader. Groups of men and women were just sitting and standing around smiling and talking. They seemed relaxed and genuinely happy and content. I could see kids running around (looked like they were playing tag) and giggling.

I was sitting by myself just taking the whole scene in when a woman came over to bring me a bunch of strawberries. When I thanked her for the food, she sat down next to me and said that it wasn't a problem because that's the way it should be...that's the way it always should have been. She said it was time that we started taking care of one another and the Earth because we were the lucky ones... God had given us a second chance.

That dream left me feeling incredibly peaceful and hopeful..

ive had this exact same dream...I could see the stars of two galaxies combining in the night sky
