A THREE-YEAR-OLD girl was left with factures and lacerations to her head and a woman lost part of her finger in two dog attacks.
A 50-year-old woman had part of her finger bitten off when her hands were mauled by her own dogs at her Hermit Park home.
An ambulance was called to the house at 8.20 am Wednesday and the woman was given first aid to her hands before being taken to Townsville Hospital for treatment.
It is believed she was attempting to separate the two dogs which were fighting when the attack took place.
In a separate incident, a three-year-old girl was holding fishing bait while playing in the backyard on Saturday when the family's rottweiler set up upon her, grabbing her head with its mouth until the owner managed to pull the animal away.
She was left with a gash to the top of her head which was fractured just above her eye and a deep laceration on her cheek.
