The problem with that is the brain drain on an already weakly positioned company. There is no obligation of these individuals to work for these companies. If they can leave and command a higher salary (they can) than they will. You leave a very weak company with substandard leadership and you get more of the same. They should have allowed these companies to fail, but now it is too late. We have invested huge amounts into them at taxpayers expense. I personally want a huge return on my investment. It sucks all the way around... |
