On Saturday, an attempt was made to set a world record for simultaneous dancing to Michael Jackson's “Thriller.”

Dancers in the US, Australia, Germany, Russia, and Pakistan all participated in the massive, highly coordinated event.

Although no official announcement has yet been made about a world record being set, videos have begun surfacing that illustrate the success and the global scale of the endeavor.

From various locations around the world, the “Thrill the World” dancers achieved their goal to orchestrate one of the largest coordinated dance routines ever witnessed on the face of the earth.

With the massive tribute to the late King of Pop now completed, Michael Jackson fans everywhere are now turning their attention to this week's worldwide release of "This Is It," which will play in theaters for a limited two week run beginning October 28th.
