so i don't know how far Timmy's has expanded into the US yet, but here in Canada, every single tim hortons around is packed within minutes of opening their doors every day (that's if they close; some are 24hours). Also the drive throughs are just JAMMED nearly all day every day.

I know people who LITERALLY can not function if they don't "get their timmy's" in the morning.

I've heard rumors that Hortons puts nicotine in their coffee; honestly i wonder if maybe they're sticking cocaine in it or some shit. Cuz really, their coffee tastes like re-brewed grounds or something. It's really nasty tasting shit and i can't see why so many people are addicted to it.

You should see the line ups are our local hortons. we have 3, and all are insanely busy all the time.

I'm in Canada too and I see this all the time. EVERY fucking Timmies I drive by at ANY time of day has a line up. Down the street, they had to install a fucking traffic light at the Timmies because the traffic was getting so ridiculous. I think the nicotine thing is an urban legend, but I wouldn't be surprised if they actually were putting something in there. Personally, I never drink coffee. I just get some timbits once and while. We have way more than 3 here in Ottawa, and more seem to pop up daily.

Some of our Tim Horton's are in the same space with Wendy's and most of the Tim Horton's have Cold Stone Creamery in them.

Tim Hortons used to rock, but now it sucks. Remember when you could go to one in the middle of the night and they had so many kinds of donuts that you couldn't decide what to pick. They were always coming straight out of the kitchen, 24/7, baked onsite. Now they have less than half the variety they used to, the size of the donuts shrunk and they don't taste as good because most stores bring in the product instead of cooking it fresh. Now you go in at 2 in the morning and they have nothing on the racks. Sad to see a great Canadian business go fast food crap. The coffee is way better than Starbucks though.
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
