Anonymous Coward User ID: 715509 United States 10/29/2009 03:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Infomercials as advertising can be written off as a tax loss. Culture's that have lost their creative soul and/or the money to make decent movies and tv shows (if there really ever was such a thing) now have to resort to infomercials as programs. Those that have cable tv just have to keep asking themselves, "Why am I paying for cable tv just to watch 20 hours of infomercials on every channel out of 24 hours? |
jnchisox1 User ID: 773524 United States 10/29/2009 04:01 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Probably because networks have to PAY companies to air episodes of television shows for every airdate, whereas infomercials PAY THEM to air their infomercials and since most of the people sleep between 3am and 6am they make more money with infomercials. This is just my opinion, i may be wrong but its the only thing that makes sense, i personally hate infomercials and when im watching tv around that time, i watch my dvr, or taped shows or movies. |
