They have some vaccine for the, as yet, unaffected Eastern Ukraine and there may well be a rush to get it. The flu has crossed into Poland but the Polish govt have refused to buy the vaccine at all. The PM says it has not been tested properly and Poland got tainted vaccine that killed homeless men, previously. The point of the post is to show that the flu is becoming more virulent and that regardless of whether people take the vaccine or not we should prepare for massive disruption, closed schools, shops and possibly whole areas quarantined. Don't get the vaccine but do try to avoid infection and DO stock up on all essential supplies. |
