Re: So has anyone here REALLY done astral travel?
Hi. I believe I had my first astral OBE last night. I remember "waking up" in the middle of my sleep with a heavy vibration on the top of my head (crown chakra?) Suddenly I was able to leave my body. I looked down to where my body was supposed to be but couldn't see it! Then I wandered around for a while, got through a wall and then decided to go back to my body.

The thing is that I'm not sure if it was a lucid dream or an OBE. I was lucid, and the whole experience was uninterrupted, but still....

I would like to hear some advices. Thanks.

Did you encounter different entities? Is it true there is a silver thread connected to the solar plex? What happens if you die while traveling? I would appreciate REAL accounts. charlie

You do it everynight when you goto sleep.

It's called dreaming.

Astral travel just takes place within the subconscious.

Re: So has anyone here REALLY done astral travel?
The subconscious is vast, you're not traveling to other dimensions. The same way people aren't being abducted by aliens in their lucid like dream, so really they really think they have been abducted.

The different dimensions are just fantasy though.

At best you get the astral realm, as someone said the emotion realm, and that is located around the emotional chakra area. (The subconscious is the invisable aura that surrounds the body btw)

Sex based dreams take place (bettered to say powered) around the base chakra, along with dreams of rage and murder.

Love base dreams which can include sex take place around the heart chakra)

Ego based dreams take place around the throat chakra.

Sometimes people get to have spiritual(and sometimes symbolic dreams) dreams which are rare for most, you can tell just by looking at the comments here, they take place (powered) around the crown chakra. They are dreams of higher purpose.

If you want your dreams to be lucid or at least want to remember them, fall asleep with your attention(the real you) focused around the 3rd eye, which looks out into the subconscious, and for the most part you are controlled because of that as well. but do that ever night and you're dreamswill become lucid. You'll even will begin to notice the moment you begin to fall into the dream state.

Another thing.

Anyone notice that cancers tend to line up long the chakra points.

Learn to think better.

Focusing at the 3rd eye will help balance you out, and improve your attitude.

Re: So has anyone here REALLY done astral travel?
One more thing.

The body only helps focus your attention on this world, allowing you act interact with other individuals. The only place where you can actually meet other people in this realm.

The real you is connected to the physical body but only via the subconscious aura which surrounds the body.

The real you operates in symbiosis to the subconscious which directs you and gives you your thoughts to listen to and act upon, or dismiss altogether(very rare sadly, and a key part as to your purpose here).

When MOST of you die, you merely live out your between incarnation period in your subconscious. Which is nothing more than a preparation period for your next incarnation. As you can tell from your regular dreams and so-called astral travels, that period can consist of anything. However it largely based around your current attitude.

So if it is bad and negative like most people's on this planet, then don't expect good things in abundance either in the pre-incanation period or the life to come.

Gus,

If you are oob and you get stuck or can't control your intent, try closing you non physical eyes and ask for guidance, the guided tours are pretty awesome.

OP,

I have never experienced the silver cord.

Fear is something you don't bring with you into the astral.

For me the doorway to the astral is about being ok with dying.

When we are offered these experiences it is a gift.Don't judge the experience or yourself just observe.

Dreaming is not the same as the oob.

Gus the vibration is the giveaway.I can go oob from the dream state and the vibrations crank up just before,it's a much weirder ride.

Re: So has anyone here REALLY done astral travel?
I have, and still do on occasion. It can be controlled once you learn. It's like living 24/7. Sometimes it's like being a bird. Other times, just think of a location in your mind, and "poof" your there. This has already been proven by those who are "Enlightened" during studies on the subject including remote viewing.
