Ease up on the generalities.


NONE of the Detroit drug dealers that I know went to see Bruce perform, but MANY of the baby-boomers in my circle of friends went because they thought it was the last time they'd see the whole group together (perhaps this was designed to prod them to put up the cash?).


One, in particular, is a poor inner-city leader in our urban-gardening/farming initiative who really simply wanted to see someone who made a tremendous impact on her life. She made continual pleas on Facebook for some help, and her partner ended up surprising her with the tickets.


As for Bruce? Thirty years ago, Jackson Browne said it best, "we do so many shows in a row, these towns all look the same".


Nobody I know has their panties in a bunch over this...but there certainly ARE a few very vocal strangers with apparently poor esteem taking it rough.
