Israel Can Attack Iran And Syria From Kurdistan

...The New Facts Upon The Ground....flo9idf1flo5

The first thing to realise is that we have been humbugged. All this talk about informal permission to over fly Saudi Arabia, or via Turkey, or whatever has just been a big smokescreen, put there to distract us from the obvious. Israeli fighter jets will be operating from Ex-American Air Bases in Kurdistan. (i.e. northern Iraq) Very well equipped, modern and well protected air bases, I might add.

These air bases are not isolated outposts surrounded by a hostile population. The Kurds main enemies are the Turks, Iranians, Iraqis and Syrians, all of whom are Israels enemies as well. They do not have a powerful air-force, but Israel does. All the latest fighter jets, helicopters, missiles and what have you...it's all there, along with vast storage facilities filled with enough munitions and other stuff to boggle the mind. (Thank you Uncle Sam.) The Kurds no doubt hope to eventually have a modern air force of their own, but that won't happen for quite a few years after they achieve statehood.

As you can see from the attached map there is a large hilly and mountainous area of about the size of Ireland (32,000 sq. miles) in the northern parts of Kurdistan. Furthermore the majority population of Iran and Turkey adjacent to this area is of Kurdish ethnic origin. It's also difficult of access and hard to attack from many directions, except the south.

I am sure that Turkey and Syria are all to well aware of the utterly devastating consequences that would eschew, should the Ataturk dams on the upper Euphrates be breached. The recent flooding in Pakistan should serve to remind them. Perhaps that will be enough to deter them from any adventurous moves to grab the oilfields of Mosul and Kirkulk...if not.

On top of all this Syria has to stretch it's air defense networks to the maximum to protect both themselves and Lebanon from attacks to their rear. Quite probably they will also have to defend from the southeast as well, because there is not really anything stopping the Israelis attacking from western Iraq and the Jordanian panhandle.

As for President Ahmadinejad and his never ending stream of evil threats against Israel. The fact of the matter is that the country is falling apart around his ears, both politically and infrastructure wise. Huge explosions have ripped through two major petrochemical facilities in recent months. These have caused severe shortages of gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel, both for the military and for civilian use. And on top of all that there have been massive disruptions of the gas/oil pipelines from Iran to Turkey in recent weeks. Not mere isolated incidents as news reports have suggested.

Politically the country seems to be getting as dangerous to live in as it was in Stalin's Soviet Union of the 1930's. Hundreds of middle and upper echelon military, political, religious, industrial, and university professionals are either killed or dragged off to prison every month. All of which has an awful effect on peoples morale. Nor of course is it helped by what seems to be a targeted series of assassinations of important nuclear and electronics experts. Or by vicious intersectine strife amongst Iran's myriad of security services, each vying with the other in a shadowy power game to gain infulance with the leading contenders for political control.

This large scale map shows the parts of Turkey, Iraq and Iran with very large Kurdish populations, with a smaller number in Syria. It also shows clearly the vulnerabilities that Israels enemies face from the Ex-American air bases in the Abril - Kirkuk area.

The New Kurdistan - Iraq..........................

If you can't watch all of this video then just watch the first three minutes if you would like to understand the deep hatred that the Kurds have for the Iraqis, in particular the Sunni's, who live below Mosul.

This is a good click through 'slide show' of the NO FLY ZONES, which protected the Kurds in recent years. [link to www.guardian.co.uk]

Underground resources

KRG-controlled parts of Iraqi Kurdistan are estimated to contain around 45 billion barrels of oil, making it the sixth largest reserve in the world. Extraction of these reserves began in 2007. Iraq's former Baath regime controls the resources of Kirkuk and Mosul, cities claimed by the KRG to be included in its territory.

As of July 2007, the Kurdish government solicited foreign companies to invest in 40 new oil sites, with the hope of increasing regional oil production over the following 5 years by a factor of five, to about 1 million barrels per day (160,000 m3/d).[47] Gas and associated gas reserves are in excess of 100 TCF.

Other underground resources that exist in significant quantities in the region include coal, copper, gold, iron, limestone (which is used to produce cement), marble, and zinc. The world's largest deposit of rock sulfur is located just southwest of Erbil (Hewlêr).[48]

Many Christians believe that these passages refer to a future biblical event, and that this will be it, however it comes about. The Kurds intend to control the rich oilfields of the violently dismembered former Iraq, the Turks won’t get any.

Isa 13:17 ¶ Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and [as for] gold, they shall not delight in it.

Isa 13:18 [Their] bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.

Isa 13:19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah

A quick internet search (links provided) will show that this information has been around for a while. But as usual if it isn’t on ABC or NBC, then it’s just talk that no one is taking seriously. Ha, ha, ha. The particular report that I am referring to mentions 30 advanced fighters. But obviously that number is insufficient, 100 plus seems a more realistic figure. As well as the usual range of command and control aircraft, refuelling tankers, plus many thousands of tons, and billions of dollars worth of what have you, and large numbers of IDF forces of various types.

Another thing is that from the political, biblical, and practical points of view the whole thing seems to mix very well together - or not, depending on your point of view. Anywhere else in the Middle East and the political situation would be a nightmare, with practically the whole population solidly against it. But if I was to say “The Polish Partitions,” most Europeans would understand exactly the Kurdish point of view. Basically the ancestors of the Kurds held a great empire that covered huge swathes of modern day Turkey, Iraq, Iran, Syria, and bits of Jordon, Saudi Arabia, etc. And to this day they are large, restive, and violently oppressed minorities, particularly in Turkey, Iraq, and Iran.

The Kurds intend to get a brand new internationally recognised country out of this. Probably with parts coming from Iran and perhaps Turkey. But mainly coming from the violently dismembered carcass of Iraq. As mentioned in the bible…
.

From a practical point of view it’s ideal, being close enough so that each pilot and aircraft can make several sorties a day, with no excess wear and tear on man or machine by flying to and fro from Israel. It’s certainly not a bad thing at all from a Kurdish point of view if Iran’s nuclear facilities are destroyed. and the country is severely battered. But not totally military destroyed, as a modern day Iran is listed in the bible as allied with Gog and Magog in a later war.

And another bonus from a Kurdish view point is the complications that an Israeli presence will cause, in regards to the Turkoman question. By which I mean that there will be no room in the new Kurdistan for Iraqis of Turkish ethnic origin. Their only choices will be to flee to Turkey or elsewhere. There is a great deal of bad blood between the two groups over the things that Turkey has done to them over the centuries. And Turkey has threatened military intervention over this question in the past.

From an Israeli point of view it is a big bonus to have a dagger aimed at Syria’s back. There is another war coming up, and I’m sure that by now they will have stockpiled enough material to fight it, after having cut Iran down to size. It’s also a big advantage to be able to additionally threaten Turkey from a new direction. Particularly as the new government has abrogated it’s defence treaties with Israel in recent weeks.

It is also a good position from which to be able to “exert influence” upon Saudi Arabia and the Gulf generally. And to add the cherry to the cake (so to speak) I very much doubt that after America pulls out, that the newly established Kurdistan will be in any hurry to see Israel go. This is a natural marriage of convenience, and this type of marriage is the longest lasting.
