However, the neighbor has nothing to do with this. It's the company (the father and his 2 sons). My neighbor was just as surprised as I am. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 819884 United States 11/18/2009 03:27 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Growing up we got our water out of a spring that was down from our house. It had a concrete cap over it with a wooden access panel on the top. The construction crew that was building the new development around us were hot dirty and sweaty and decided to cool off, guess where... My mom went down and gave em hell. We were boiling water for a while until it cleared. |
Rocket Man User ID: 783923 Canada 11/18/2009 03:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | my neighbors roofers (new roof going up) were plugged into my outdoor electric socket? I unplugged their cord and asked why they did it, they didn't have a good answer...I took down their company name, number. What should I do? Quoting: ~You should fucking chill. Yes, it was inappropriate of them to steal your power, but consider it a favor for your neighbor. In the end it'll cost you $2.00 in electricity to power the tools they need. Rocket Man User ID: 783923 Canada 11/18/2009 03:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | call their boss- your neighbor. they can actually just fiegn ignorance? make your neighbor pay. fuck him Quoting: Lady Lara Crofthow long do you think they were on it? call the electric company to come out and take a reading. they can see the increased activity from power tools and hold the construction company responsible. Call the electric company? are you fucking insane? Oh yes, I remember now..... Last Edited by Rocket Man on 11/18/2009 03:35 PM we are many |

No one should just take anything without asking. One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one. Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway. Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?. . .J. Handy |

Quoting: Evil TwinThis is the only sensible course of action. Wait for their lunch break when they aren't occupying the high ground. NO, NO, NO...Pick them off when they are on the roof and watch them fall cowboy style to the ground.. |

Quoting: BluebirdNo one should just take anything without asking. Just make sure those are insulated shears, unless you want to be electrocuted, like the police electrocute 10 year old girls. First thing you should have done was to take photos for evidence. And for people saying it was a mistake, BS...!. They knew exactly what they were doing. If the power was out on their side, they obviously knew they were stealing the neighbors electricity. I would definitely make the owner of that company pay for that shit and more. And for the turd who says stop being a baby, you are an idiot. I'm sure you would let these idiots walk all over you but most don't like paying for others electric bills. AND BS that's not $2 worth of electricity.. Powertools suck down amps like crack! |
_Storm_ User ID: 362931 United States 11/18/2009 04:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Our neighbors asked once when their electric was out between renters. I am glad they asked, but they came prepared with 100+ feet of cord so who knows if we had not been home. I didn't mind except that they were the home owners and should have paid to put it in their name between renters in my opinion, and because they were to lazy to come unplug it and yanked the cord out breaking the cover. But whatever, live and learn I suppose. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 802124 United States 11/18/2009 04:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yeah, you got to watch those guys. I once caught gardeners hooking up their hoses to my water spigot to water the common areas of the neighborhood. I went right out there and turned it off, unscrewed the hose, and threw it back at them. |

Quoting: Rocket ManI have always gone through great lengths to get along with neighbors, even if they were retards. So any one working on your neighbor's house is welcome to come on over and take whatever is in your yard? The lawn mower? The kids' outdoor toys? Maybe your Christmas lights? Because it's neighborly. Cool. I want to be your neighbor. I won't have to buy anything for Christmas ever again. |

Cool. I want to be your neighbor. I won't have to buy anything for Christmas ever again. That is NOT what being a good neighbor is and your stupid or ridiculously sarcastic ass knows that. My "neighbor" is considered a friend till he gives me reason not to be. I watch over his place when I'm home and he is not and he returns the favor by making sure nothing happens to my place when I am gone... It's called "being neighborly" but the dumbed down distracted and selfish fucks of this material world have completely lost touch with what that means... |
BunBun User ID: 55789547 United States 05/04/2014 05:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The concrete guys had used my sisters water to fill their pumpers for the 2500 sqft pour next door, during a water shortage and winter averaging, over water usage fee and city fines cost them a grand, my sister found out and raised a royal brewwha-ha with the builder and the city. The city charged the concrete guys (permits are a good thing for once) They tried to use my sisters water again, that did not turn out well my sister is short with a like fuse and damn crazy like a chihuahua dog. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 786384 I love this post. It's so well written and contains a plot. Yes, certain justice was met out and the sister went postal. Excellent post. Christard and Lover of God |
