My sister is taking my four year old nephew (who I love dearly) to have his swine flu vaccination next week. There's a huge publicity campaign just starting here in the UK and I'm beside myself with worry as the silly bitch refuses to listen to sense and do some research. Hopefully after reading this she may reconsider. Thanks OP. x x |

Based on that, I guess they have no problem declaring the vaccine to be perfectly safe. The one bright note in all this doom, is that MANY, MANY people are now enlightened about vaccines in general - maybe this "swine flu" BS will lead to a massive reduction in people accepting the childhood vaccines for their children - most of which are just as bad, or worse, than this experimental toxic cocktail know as the H1N1 vaccine.. Cheers = ;o)> |

She had the H1N1 vaccine on Tuesday. She woke up friday morn. with one side of her face paralized, now almost her whole face is paralized. She is starting blood and plasma transfusions tonight. She will be transferred to Barnes hospital soon for more extensive testing. To those who laugh at the severity of this strange, unknown sickness and vaccine I hope you stay informed and not ignorant. I'm calling bullshit on this one. GBS (guillain barre syndrome) doesn't start with the face. It's begins with lower extremity paralysis, and moves upward.. ascending paralysis. |

Well, if you keep pumping people full of this shit, anything can happen! So maybe you have to come up with a new name for vaccine related paralysis that ISN'T ascending.. |

I doubt it's necessary, and I know it's not helpful to allow disinformation about the virus, or the vaccine. You have an unstable virus, H1N1 09. There is a vaccine. There are risk associated with the virus, and the vaccine. You have a choice. |

Yeah usually thats what it does, but not always. I have a friend who had GBS 20+ years ago (due to a bee sting). Her GBS started with her face and her body ended up totally paralyzed, she couldnt even open or close her eyelids by herself. She totally recovered except for her face, its still paralyzed to this day. |

Can I go to my local doctor and get the shot or is it only available for particular groups at this stage? How much does it cost? Not that I'm thinking of getting the vaccine, just wondering how easy it is to get, is all. |
