How did these hexagon shaped rocks form?
This strange rock formation found in Northern Ireland is known as The Giant's Causeway. It's believed that these volcanic rocks became *naturally* hexagonally shaped when water began to cool them millions of years ago.

They look too man-made to me:

"Some 50 to 60 million years ago,[3] during the Paleogene period, Antrim was subject to intense volcanic activity, when highly fluid molten basalt intruded through chalk beds to form an extensive lava plateau. As the lava cooled rapidly, contraction occurred. While contraction in the vertical direction reduced the flow thickness (without fracturing), horizontal contraction could only be accommodated by cracking throughout the flow. The size of the columns is primarily determined by the speed at which lava from a volcanic eruption cools[4]. The extensive fracture network produced the distinctive columns seen today. The basalts were originally part of a great volcanic plateau called the Thulean Plateau which formed during the Paleogene period.[5]"

Further:

"Basalt columns are a common volcanic feature, and they occur on many scales (because faster cooling produces smaller columns). Similar sites include: the Prismas Basálticos in Hidalgo, Mexico, Fingal's Cave and the 'Kilt Rock' on Skye in Scotland, Svartifoss in Iceland, Jusangjeolli in South Korea, the Garni gorge in Armenia, the Cyclopean Isles near Sicily, Devils Postpile National Monument in California, Devils Tower National Monument in Wyoming, the Organ Pipes National Park just outside of Melbourne, Australia, the "Organ Pipes" formation on Mount Cargill in New Zealand, the "Rocha dos Bordões" formation in Flores, the Azores, near Twyfelfontein in Namibia, Gành Đá Đĩa in Vietnam,[13] Cape Stolbchatiy in Russia, and on St. Mary's Islands on the west coast of India."

My note:

Last year I started dreaming about rock formations like this. Part of my dreams were taking hexagon 'columns' and slicing them into paving stones, plates for roofing.

Full "columns" were being laid like logs in a log cabin, building walls, steps and retaining walls.

In my dreams I was in some semi-tropical place, building a structure (A large house or temple). Very vivid dreams.

Re: How did these hexagon shaped rocks form?
We have basaltic columns about 30 miles north of us, close to the majestic Mt. Shasta...and while they do look manufactured it is just a byproduct of the cooling of certain types of basalt.

Crystals form straight sides, why cannot other mineral formations end up in the rather common hexagonal motif?

Interesting dream. I had visions of Atlantis when I was channelling, and I could see hexagonal paving stones like the Giant's Causeway, except these ones were much larger.

Re: How did these hexagon shaped rocks form?
Those were made, not formed. They remind me of driveways, sidewalks, and patios I've seen, same design & color.

If you look at Bryce Canyon, the Ampitheater, and Arches Park, it's easy to see that it was once a city, a civilization. Maybe hundreds of thousands of years old. If those were buildings, and they do look like ancient high rises with a park area, logic suggests they were made from the natural rock and materials from the region. A couple of big floods putting it all under water for long periods would create the current appearance.

On the CBS Saturday morning show, they have a view they use from above & looking down the row of highrises along Central Park. It looks like the Bryce Canyon Ampitheater might have looked eons ago.
This would coincide with many planetary regions that have formations that could not possibly be naturally occurring.
There are also what we think are mountains, and maybe they always were, with sheared facades, as if they were lasered into flat sides. They probably were lasered.

As soon as we get our heads out the ass of history according to biblical time, we might get some sense of how ancient civilizations really lived on this planet. Maybe it's too scary to think that civilizations like ours, or maybe more advanced lived here before us. Well, historians need to get over it. Because there were many before us.
