Well I think this guy is giving out the CD...

BUT... it is NOT A CHARITY.... he is just a music production company that is producting the cd and donating the cd to hospital... NOT as a CHARITY but as him self.,

If you read the letter it is all about him... not the community effort that supports it.

I do not think it is proper to give donations that are not going to a Non-Profit...

WHY... accountability. The money is NOT going to CHARITY so it can not be TAX Deducted... the money is going to a guy who produced the cd.. and by the way .. the CD's have also been sold on the internet.

His blog says... We suggest $20 donation... but you can not call it a DONATION if he is NOT a Charity... you are just giving the guy some money... to help him do this project.

So.. if you wish.... just do it... but realize it will NOT be tax deductable... that is all I can say about it.

Truly if he has been doing this for 4 years.. one must question WHY he has not properly set his up as a CHARITY.

That is the RUB... he TALKS about GIVING and CHARITY... but it is ALL to his Production Company. It cost less that $500.00 to set up a charity... just do it legally and be accountable with the donations.
