theDtrain (OP) User ID: 712747 United States 12/03/2009 01:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Sorry, I don't want you to feel like a "little girl", but I can handle spiders quite easily. I just gently pick them up and put them outside. You can use a glass to catch them. Put the glass over them, and then get a bit of card to place under the glass and put them outdoors. I was going to say they don't bite, but I have had a couple of little nips from one or two spiders. Quoting: *Jentle*I came close to vomiting just now. It's not all spiders with me, small ones are okay, it's just the big long-bodied ones that build funnel webs. I hate those things so much, it's hard for me to even whack 'em with a shoe, but I do, otherwise I'd have to move out of my apartment until they were found and killed. I have a totally insane friend who PICKS THEM UP IN HER HAND and sets them free (when everyone knows they will just run straight back inside, stupid cow). Hate the things! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 373696 United States 12/03/2009 01:52 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Always remember - spiders are our friends and allies. The insects are the real enemy, and our friends the spiders kill and eat many insects. I've been telling my wife this for about 25 years. In the last one or two she's gotten to the point where she will tolerate them, but that's about it. |
